Scrutineering Rules
  • Vehicle engine must operate on its own and it isn’t allowed for vehicles that operate with propulsion
  • Any vehicle that does not meet the safety requirements will be excluded from participation.
  • Any breakage or scratching of the vehicle’s glass keeps the vehicle from participation.
  • All metal oil containers (Diaper Pan) should be removed before stopping in front of the kiosk.
  • Bumpers and side skirts must be securely fastened.
  • Vehicles must not have any fluid leaks.
  • Car doors must open from inside the car as well as from outside.
  • Vehicle door handles must be in full working order.
  • Vehicle must have all windows factory glass or Lexan replacement windows.
  • Driver and passenger window glass can be replaced by approved netting.
  • Dark shading that hides vision must be removed.
  • Vehicle electrical and mechanical components and evaporation tubes must be installed or welded in a safe place and not allowed to be bonded using Zip Ties and Hose Clamps.
  • Vehicle brakes must be in FULL working order.
  • Front and rear lights should work properly (at least one light in front and back).
  • All types of tires may participate.
  • Alloy wheel bolts and screws should be complete, in good condition and fastened properly.
  • Radiators with overflow feature must contain a Catch Can box.
  • Batteries must be securely fastened down.
  • It is allowed to change the location of the battery. It must be securely installed and outside the driver’s cab. You must use an external battery cable and connect it to the positive (+) part of the battery. The cable should be located farther from the rear of the vehicle with an indicative sticker (PUSH OFF).
  • The cooling system of the vehicle must be in its original place according to the manufacturer.
  • It is not allowed to reduce side doors weight.
  • It is allowed to reduce engine hood and trunk weight or replace them with fiberglass or carbon fiber. Thus, it is forbidden to replace the vehicle body completely with fiberglass or carbon fiber.
  • It is permitted to use racing seats with racing seat belts or keep the original seat with the factory belt. It is not allowed to use racing seats with factory belts, and it is allowed to remove the passenger and back seats.
  • A jack stand pad should be present when lifting the car or when the vehicle is malfunctioning.
  • All recording devices must be mounted securely, not handheld.
